The September 2024 report analyses data from the surveys conducted in October 2023, January 2024, and April 2024, focusing on consumer expectations over the following 12 months.
It offers a comparison over time of growth expectations for key microeconomic indicators: individual income—both total and from employment/pensions—, total consumption, energy consumption, healthcare expenditure, and durable goods purchasing intentions.
The report highlights a general improvement in expectations, particularly in relation to consumption and household income. However, uncertainty remains due to declining projections for durable goods purchases and expected interest rates on future investments, compared to the surveys from October and May.
